During 70 years with the Alexander Technique Walter Carrington created an impressive archival collection of papers and books. It is the largest and most important collection of its kind in the world.

The archives consists of over 12 boxes of papers and several hundred books on the Alexander Technique and related science, such as anatomy and physiology.

About half of the collection of papers were classified in 1988 but only on index cards. The task now is to classify all documents and books and make the information available online. A reference library will be created to house the archives and the Trust will employ an archivist for the preservation and classification of the collection.

We plan to open the archives to the public by appointment in the Autumn of 2017.
